We provide a nurturing and educational environment for children, focusing on their individual needs and development. We work closely with families to support them in their childcare journey.

I am a passionate and dedicated educator. I have worked within the Early Childhood Sector for over 15 years. I have also worked and had experience within Allied Health and Early Intervention. I enjoy teaching and learning with children and I strongly value partnerships with families.
I believe that smaller environments allow for a tailored learning experience and stronger partnerships. That is what our program aims to achieve.
I founded Firm Foundations Family Day Care in 2024 to support my family and in doing so I hope to be a valuable support to other families within the local area.

Our Teaching Program
At Firm Foundations Family Day Care, we strongly believe in the importance of early childhood education and care as a fundamental basis for lifelong learning and skill development. Our program is crafted in accordance with national curriculum standards and is influenced by ongoing research and professional training, ensuring that each child receives a firm foundation for learning, tailored to their individual differences.
Our educational approach is rooted in the interests, developmental needs, and voices of the children, which guide our intentional teaching and the scaffolding of further skills. We understand that play is essential for learning. The environment is intentionally designed to encourage exploration, inquiry, and curiosity, supporting children at all stages of their learning journey through the use of open-ended materials and natural elements.
